Jiri Posva is a Czech artist based in Prague. He began his professional career in 1972 following a four-year ceramics apprentice program.
Posva’s artworks revolve around erotica with an emphasis on exaggeration. He complements his figures with a distinct sense of humor, citing Fernando Botero as one of his early influences.
Together with his wife, academic painter Barbora Kyskova, they created several large-scale works including indoor and outdoor sculptures.
