Born in Beirut in 1974 and raised by a family of artists, Benoit Debbane began his artistic journey as a graffiti artist in the post-war era of 1991. Despite studying architecture at ALBA, he found his calling as a freelance illustrator and comic artist for local publications and advertising agencies.
Benoit later ventured into teaching illustration at LAU and digital art at ALBA. Over the years, he successfully exhibited his paintings at ART LOUNGE - BEIRUT, but faced a hiatus due to health challenges.

Making a comeback in June 2019 with a solo show at GALERIE CHERIFF TABET, he enjoyed a 3-year representation by the same gallery. Despite challenges in the Lebanese art market, he now explores regional and international scenes. In November 2022, he collaborated on a sold-out duo show titled "FLOWER POWER" with Wissam Eid, curated by Alia Hilal Matar. Benoit's evolving art, characterized by neon colors and irreverent doodles, maintains a playful, satirical, and provocative essence, reflecting the contradictions of the world through a childlike perspective.
